Crimson Grass

This modest-sized, red grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The heart-shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, subtle red tuft.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
