Yellow Moss

This light yellow moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In rainforests, and In heathlands.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is extremely strong.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
