Bluevine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 29 feet (8.8 meters) and growing as high as 68 feet (20.7 meters).
It takes 20 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.
The pleated, leathery leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are found in caramel and blue varieties, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the vine produces many clusters of large grey flowers.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
