Amberberry

This big shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for around 26 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, straight stems covered in rough, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of huge, 4 pointed, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either red, or light brown with amber zig-zags, resilient and leathery.

It produces several medium-sized, intense purple flowers with 5 oval-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a powerful scent that smells like paint. In late autumn it forms giantcream berries.
