Copper Sunsucculent

This massive leaf succulent grows up to 115 feet (35.1 meters) tall. The pleated stem is yellow-green, and is dotted with small blood red spines. The rounded-edged, finger-like leaves are copper at the bottom and cream with red edges at the top. Sparse amounts of them grow from the base in tight-packed layers. The leaves are robust, but detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 11 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with each petal a slightly different shade of pastel yellow, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like candle wax.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the pastel yellow flesh is soft, and the pastel yellow sap is thin.
