Turquoise Spine Succulent

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 57 feet (17.4 meters) tall. The very thick stem is green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible turquoise spines. The mushroom-shaped body is lime green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible turquoise spines.

It is very slow growing, taking 49 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with brilliant yellow petals on the lower layer and cyan petals decorated with silver dots on the inner layer. The central disk is green, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with several tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like chocolate.

The cactus's skin is thick, the amber flesh is soft, and the orange sap is thin.
