Crimson Thunder Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On rotten logs, In bogs, and On trees.
It is giant, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is very hardy.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.

The grains are bitter, but very healthy and extremely sweet.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is frequently struck by lightning.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
