Moss type: Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps On rotten logs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
