Aquamarine Blue

This enormous flower grows up to 7.5 feet (2.3 meters) tall. Its lime green stems grow in bunches of 3 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the large, bronze or lime leaves are stiff, pointed with serrated edges. 23 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

4 to 9 giant flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 81 cm (31.9 inches) wide, with petals that are aquamarine at the sides and pastel blue at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 38 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a strong scent that smells like freshly washed clothes, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to insects.
