Violetvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 384 feet (117.0 meters) and growing as high as 130 feet (39.6 meters).

It takes 4 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 6 inches (15 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The very thin, clammy leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (71 cm) in length. They are cream at the bottom and light brown with blue lines at the top, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several giant violet flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of small berries.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for making strong rope
