Bluevine

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 147 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has numerous wide, angular stems covered in fine, cracked, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are very long and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, broad, flat, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are solid blue or vivid orange, with amber lines, sturdy and rough.

It produces lots of medium-sized, purple flowers with oblong shaped petals. They are sturdy and have a fairly strong scent that smells like mango. In late spring it forms medium-sizedcaramel, shelled seeds.
