Climbing Bineberry

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This colossal bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,656 feet (809.5 meters) and growing as high as 231 feet (70.4 meters).

It takes 14 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4.9 feet (1.5 meters) and are flat and wavy.

The broad, flat, clammy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are red and aquamarine, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of giant yellow flowers.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
