Crimson Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in thin clumps that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, olive spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.

It grows well in the sun and full shade.
Several parts of the flower have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
