Lilacbell

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 22 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several very thick, twisting stems covered in very thick, wrinkled, light gray bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches trail down across the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of huge, thin, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are moss green with lilac tips, resistant and crispy.

It produces a handful of medium-sized, azure flowers with wide petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are sturdy and have a delicate scent that smells like rotting meat. In mid-summer it forms smallblack, shelled seeds.
