Bluegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows the first year, flowers the second year, then dies)

This small, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, blue tuft.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making paper
