Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized tree grows up to 46 meters (150.9 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 131 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, curved trunk covered in very thick, ridged, burgundy and brown bark, and inside, the very light wood is dark brown.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with small amounts of smooth, huge, wide leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally silver.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, orange, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with grassy ground between them.
