Silvergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This small, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, silver tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of large grains.
