Silver

This short tree grows up to 6 meters (19.7 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 393 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a branched, twisting trunk covered in rough, silver and white bark, and inside, the dense wood is black with white speckles.

The branches are short stubs and are covered with small bunches of leathery, huge, fan-like leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are dark brown with amber tips.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, orange, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
