Crimson Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized, crimson grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, intense red puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.

It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
