Sunshade Vine

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 77 feet (23.5 meters) and growing as high as 143 feet (43.6 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 3 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 11 inches (28 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The broad, flat, soft leaves reach up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) in length. They are yellow at the bottom and purple with azure edges at the top, and have wavy edges.
