Caramelgrass

This small, beige or caramel grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, deep green spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
