Magenta Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is silver, and is covered in many rigid magenta spines. The pebble-like leaves are azure and washed-out orange. Copious amounts of them grow on stocky, pink-red branches that are long and thin. The leaves are rigid, and do not detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid magenta petals decorated with sky blue lines and a crimson central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with many tightly layered narrow petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cotton.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the cyan flesh is rubbery, and the blood red sap is thin.
