Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short, bold blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, gold tuft.
During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for making paper
