Bloodvine

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is gray-green, and is covered in brittle blood red spines. The wavy-edged, pleated leaves are solid beige or peach, with white edges. Copious amounts of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are frail, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is slow growing, taking 23 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with sky blue petals on the lower layer and caramel petals decorated with gentle yellow dots on the inner layer. The central disk is crimson, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 48 petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like baby powder.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the hazel flesh is slimy, and the lilac sap is thin and can kill if consumed.

It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
