Silverwind Grass

This modest-sized, vivid green or dark brown grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in large clumps that are delicate and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, silver tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
