Cinnamon Brown

This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its pink-red stem is thin and splits into several branching stems at the top, and the huge, brown leaves are pleated with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with solid brown petals decorated with lilac dots and a pale yellow central disk. The flower head is made up of 16 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. They are hardy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like cinnamon, and it has excessive amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
