Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This massive vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 681 feet (207.6 meters) and growing as high as 608 feet (185.3 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 5 years for the hazel or bronze stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1.3 feet (38 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The very thin, waxy leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are found in blood red and blood red varieties, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of large peach flowers.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
The sap is edible and extremely savoury.
