Azure Puffgrass

This modest-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, azure puff.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
