Violet Creeper

This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 15 feet (4.6 meters)0.

It takes 4 months for the hazel or violet stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The fan-like, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are found in green, bronze and copper varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces large amounts of average white flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of small seed pods.
