Copperflower

This large flower grows up to 5.2 feet (1.6 meters) tall. Its emerald stem is thick, and the tiny, yellow-green leaves are light copper on the underside and are wispy with jagged edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 69 cm (27.2 inches) wide, with deep purple petals on the lower layer and olive petals decorated with crimson dots on the inner layer. The central disk is cream. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like rotten egg, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
