Bog Emerald Moss

This green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs.
It is average-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is very delicate.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
