Violet Succulent

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 29 feet (8.8 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is moss green, and is covered in large amounts of rigid green spines. The thick leaves are either violet or silver, with olive dots. Thick bunches of them grow on thin, moss green branches that trail down to the ground. The leaves are sturdy, but detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 12 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid brilliant red petals decorated with drab blue dots and a intense orange central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 3 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a tube with 44 raised, narrow petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like a woman.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the violet flesh is rubbery, and the dark grey sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
