Blue Spikegrass

This average-sized, blue grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are sturdy and flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, purple spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
