Blue Glowvine

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 38 feet (11.6 meters) tall. The wide stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in sharp spines. The round, light grey trunk can grow to as much as 38 feet (11.6 meters) in diameter. Its gray-green branches trail down to the ground.

The smooth-edged, long, tapering leaves are either vivid blue or white, with intense green streaks. They are flimsy, but do not detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with alternating petals of orange and cyan, with a magenta central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 18 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like a man.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the sky blue flesh is rubbery, and the lilac sap is thin.
