Crimson Puff Grass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, crimson puff.
During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The stems are covered in large spikes.
