Redvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This enormous bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,662 feet (811.4 meters) and growing as high as 883 feet (269.1 meters).

It takes 18 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3.3 feet (99 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The needle-like, soft leaves reach up to 3.6 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are blood red and amber, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of average olive flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of tiny fruits.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
