Gray-green
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 146 feet (44.5 meters).
It takes 4 months for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are thick and twisted.
The finger-like, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are found in yellow, olive and red varieties, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the bine produces several small washed-out green flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny seed pods.
It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
