Silverbell

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its silver stem is thick, and the tiny, silver leaves are black on the underside and are asymmetrical with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with white petals and a vibrant blue central disk. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of several raised, round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like honeysuckle, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator and is ignored by most insect species.
