Pink Petal Flower

This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its red stem is very thin and straight with a curved tip, and the miniature, gray leaves are finger-like with irregular edges. 6 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 12 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with pink petals and a green central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 45 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like apple, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
