Crimsonbrush

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 32 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of very thick, straight stems covered in thick, silky, brown bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches trail down to the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of large, wispy, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are either crimson or cream, with light brown streaks, durable and rough.

In mid-summer it produces hundreds of small, black flowers with circular shaped petals. They fall easily and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like roses.
