Crimson Succulent

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 31 feet (9.4 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is orange, and is covered in dozens of fine, bronze, hair-like spines. The jagged-edged, broad, flat leaves are crimson and deep red. Large amounts of them grow from the base like blades of grass. The leaves are rigid, but take some effort to detach.

It is slow growing, taking 29 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid brilliant green petals decorated with aquamarine dots and a bright orange central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 46 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like wet dog.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the dark grey flesh is soft, and the lime sap is thin.
