Magenta Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters) and growing as high as 491 feet (149.7 meters).

It takes 8 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The circular, smooth leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are magenta and grey, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many tiny cyan flowers.

It is suitable for making paper
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
