Silverwood Tree

This average-sized tree grows up to 52 meters (170.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 245 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, wonky trunk covered in paper-thin, silky, silver and white bark, and inside, the dense wood is burgundy-brown.

The numerous branches trail down across the ground and are covered with large amounts of smooth, miniature, needle-like leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are grey on the sides and dark brown at the center.

In late summer it forms small, silver, shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
