Magenta

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its yellow or black stems grow in bunches of 7 and are very thin with a curved tip, and the huge, green leaves are triangular with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Each stem splits 6 to 10 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with petals that are magenta in the center, bronze in the middle and silver at the edges. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 50 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like pepper, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
