Silverbark

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This colossal shrub grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 174 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many knobbly, straight stems covered in delicate, ridged, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, long, tapering, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are moss green with bronze tips, strong and crispy.

In mid-summer it produces bunches of medium-sized, orange flowers with many layers of petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have the faintest scent that smells like lemon.
