Coppergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, copper tail.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
