Twisted Copper Vine

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 32 feet (9.8 meters).

It takes 4 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are thick and twisted.

The 9 pointed, soft leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are magenta on the sides and intense blue at the center, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of small lilac flowers.
