Copper

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its copper or turquoise stem is very thick, and the miniature, moss green leaves are dark aquamarine on the underside and are fan-like with smooth edges. 27 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Each stem splits 2 to 4 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with gold petals and a yellow center. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight tube. They are very delicate.

It has a weak scent that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a variety of insects.
