Silverfern

This silver moss is commonly found growing in small clumps On trees, and In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly flexible; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
