Azureberry

This average-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for around 87 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of wide, crooked stems covered in hard, wrinkled, gray bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches are very long and thin that and are covered with sparse amounts of large, slender, pointed, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid cream with slate lines, rigid and sticky.

In early spring it produces lots of medium-sized, azure blossoms with many layers of petals. They fall easily and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like cherry.

In early winter long, tapering fruits ripen. The fuzzy amber skin is tough and savoury, and the soft white flesh is bitter and salty and very juicy. The caramel seeds are tiny and are scattered throughout the fruit.
